It’s been hard to pick a project of the month, as we have a few on the go however May’s pick is the TCB Building in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane. On the 3rd floor we replaced the Kitchen Extraction System, using fan’s, cowls and silencers from Fantech.
Before any of this work got underway, we had to install a plant deck, which had to be fabricated in manhandled pieces to access the roof area and then assembled once on the roof. Safety harnesses were worn at all times while working on the roof (as you can see in our photos) as there was a high fall risk due to the height of the installed deck and the building parapet wall.
