AC-TEC is pleased to announce the successful completion of a comprehensive chiller replacement project for a valued client.
Due to the advancing age and deteriorating condition of the two existing Smardt air-cooled chillers, AC-TEC was commissioned to undertake a full replacement with state-of-the-art new Smardt Turbocor (oil-free centrifugal) chillers. Each new unit delivers a nominal capacity of 400 kW, providing enhanced performance, superior energy efficiency, and long-term reliability to meet the facility’s cooling demands.
This project extended beyond simple unit substitution. It included a targeted upgrade to the existing control systems, ensuring seamless integration, optimised operation, and improved overall system reliability for years to come.
