Grant Richardson

Director

Grant has worked in the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Industry since 1988 he commenced employment with LUKE Industries in the significant commercial air conditioning sector. LUKE Ind merged with CARRIER Air Conditioning, where he became established to a worldly experience working in 9 different countries as a General Manager. Grant holds a Restricted Electrical and ARC Licence and a Diploma of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning from the College of Sydney.

Peter Hounsell

Director

Peter has worked in the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Industry since 1988, after spending five years in the United Kingdom, as Senior Service Engineer he moved to Australia and became a Citizen in 2007.

He has a Certified Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Diploma (South Africa) and is an Australian holder of Restricted Electrical and ARC Licences.

Clay Sayer

General Manager

Our General Manager Clay Sayer has worked in the Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Industry since 2002, where he started as a HVAC apprentice with Trane Australia. Once qualified, he continued working for Trane/Veolia throughout Queensland and Northern NSW, covering all aspects of work from maintenance, service, and installation, working on large commercial HVAC and chilled water systems, chillers, and Building Automation Systems. Clay specialised in BMS then moving onto project management, and branch management. Clay holds a Refrigeration (ARC) Licence & and Restricted Electrical Licence.

Marcus Somerville

Service Manager

Our Service Manager, Marcus Somerville, has a career spanning from many years in the HVAC industry. He began as an apprentice working for Trane/Veolia, gaining invaluable experience throughout Queensland and Northern NSW. Specialising in large HVAC systems, chillers, and BMS (Building Management Systems), he honed his skills on some of the most
complex projects in the industry. His expertise extends to project management and asset maintenance for critical environments, including hospitals, medical facilities, and large educational institutions. This extensive background equips him with a deep understanding of both the technical and managerial aspects of HVAC and asset management, ensuring that our customers assets are kept to the highest standards of efficiency and reliability.

Brad Neate

Project Design and Operations

Bradley Neate, our Operations Manager, became an Air Conditioning Apprentice in 1995, once qualified he then moved up the ranks from a Mobile Service Engineer in South Africa to Senior Technician working in Kings College Hospital London UK. He has worked on several HVAC systems, chilled water units, refrigeration plants, and many Control systems and has excellent knowledge of BMS systems. Brad now designs and oversees the construction of all projects taken on by AC-TEC Services
